WRONG!!! even tho slim shady lp was a good album... his best shit was his underground mixtapes and albums... such as infinite and slim shady EP... even the shit he did with royce da 5'9 was untouchable... when he went mainstream it fucked him all up... even tho as i said SSLP and MMLP was good... the eminem show and encore fucked him up... somethin went wrong with him after the filming of 8 Mile... and i think he was deeply affected by Proofs death... so he took it easy with his lyrics

1. His Ep was the Slim Shady Lp, just with less songs.
2. Eminem show came out before 8 Mile
3. He only did a few songs with Royce, one was on his Ep
4. Infinite was decent at best, a lot of it wasn't good at all, no real topical stuff
5. Most the "underground" shit you hear is after he hit "mainstream" around Eminem Show time.
6. Proof died a year ago. He hasn't released anything besides the reup mixtape since then.
7. MMLP was way more advanced then any other work he did.
9. Come on stan step up your Stan Game. I don't even consider Em in my top-5, and I knew all that.

1. i knew that... didn't have to tell me twice
2. ok so u knew that... i don't pay attention to release dates
3. he did a shit load of songs with Royce...
4. Infinite was THE best by far... didn't really have to be topical cause he had no topics to go off of except for his home in Detriot and how it was there... rest of it was all story book and thats what i like
5. yeah cause ppl were finding more out about his underground shit... when eminem show came out thats when i heard about Infinite and Slim Shady EP
6. even on the re-up, he still hasn't been the same since Proof died... basically he changed AFTER killin off Slim Shady...
7. agreed MMLP was way more advanced than ANY other album hes ever released cause alot more shit was goin on during that time in his life so he had alot of pent up anger
8. u forgot 8
9. i just know alot about Eminem, doesn't make me a "Stan" i'm not Kyle Pratt... and went as far as stealing Kim Mathers cell phone to get a hold of Eminem and ask him to listen to my demo... so iuno why i'm bein placed in that catagory... sure i got a pic of him in my avatar but i consider him as of my roll models... same thing goes with 2Pac, Malcom X, MLK, Johnny Cash and JFK...

Exactly.
Besides he was shitty before Proof died. Hence encore
Infinite is not the underground album that defines a generation. IMO
I would love to hear them shit load of songs with royce?

u Fags. He Was Always Releasin Good Tracks But Never Had a Great Album Before Slim Shady LP. infinite Had its ill Tracks Like 313, Bad influence And Jealousy Woes But it Had its Mediocre Tracks Aswell. Eminem Show Was Great, it's Just Not Eminem's Signature Style But Most Of The Tracks Were ill Like Square Dance, White America, Cleanin Out My Closet, Sing For The Moment, Till i Collapse, Soldier, Without Me, Business And Superman. Too Many Ppl Seem To Think When He Showed His Serious Side And Stopped Rapping About Fart Jokes That He Fell Off, Listen To The Songs i Just Mentioned Lmao. Encore Was Pretty Shit Because Half The Tracks Were Pointless And Eminem Was Obviously Bored And Knew it Would Sell To All The Pop Listeners So Why Does He Need To Try? He Was Still Droppin Some Nice Underground Mixtapes at The Time Of Eminem Show And Encore Where He Was More Punchline Heavy Etc (i Should Know, i Have All Those Fucking Mixtapes Lmao.) But Yeah i Preferred The More Crazy Eminem Back When He Was Collabing With Royce, High And Mighty And (D12 More Often).
EDIT - This Forum isnt For Discussion Threads Btw, This Should Be in Hip Hop Discussion.

hes done 4-5 tracks with royce, what the beat, bad meets evil, rock city, shes the one, i guess you could count the "original" renegade
and hes never done a solo mixtape, so quit talking about all his "ill underground mixtapes" the re-up was the only real mixtape hes done, any other mixtape you find is just something a dj put together themselves
and how the hell could proof's death effect his music so horribly? encore was just as bad as anything hes done after proof died
he doesn't have alotta "underground shit" hes got maybe 15 collabs total, and all of them happened right before he signed with dr dre, before that he was a nobody
saying "mainstream fucked him up" is a really stupid remark if you guys are such stans of him, cause if he never made it into the mainstream you would've never heard anything from him, he'd still be in a trailerpark in the suburbs of detriot

Eminem Aint Whack Tho. People Just Expect Too Much Of Him. But With That Said He Was Off The Chain In His Freestyles. You Watch, When He Dies People Gonna Be Like That Shit When Tupac Died.
