Actually for story-telling I prefer kool g rap & ghost face.

By saying that slick rick had a "hot song". You would be implying that I know whats "hot" in hip-hop. Which I haven't since 02. The only thing I keep a track of in hip-hop is albums. Not whats good for a single.

Slick rick has been telling stories on cds since.Hmmm. Years before you were born.

I'd personally have to say from an influence point I will agree...Em is a hell of a story teller. He really knows how to put shit in a perspective to where you can actually feel like you were there to witness it. The power of story telling huh!? But if I were to really break it down to the all time best story teller I've ever heard to date would be Ludacris. From Back for the First Time all the way to Run Away Love on Release Therapy.

A good story teller even though he doesn't rap is R.Kelly by far. And I'm not speakin just being trapped in the closet either.

"undying love" "one love" "last real nigga alive" "money is my bitch" "I GAVE YOU POWER" "blaze a 50" among many others, no other emcee touches what nas did with the story shit...
