do ya'll understand what underrated is? no offense to rell but common, mos def, & kweli aren't underrated at all, they get plenty of respect and recognition
lupe's a good mc to mention, he's like jay-z is with singles, just by listening to jay's singles you wouldn't think he was that great but if you listen to his other shit you notice hes much better than people give him credit for

yeah i was talking respect from real hip hop heads, of course kids ain't gonna respect them cause they don't know WHY they should, they just listen to rap because its whats popular they don't know the difference between a good rapper and a bad rapper
joe budden gets a good amount of respect too, but he really needs to get an album out by the end of this year before people start to stop giving a shit about him
and yeah, lupes singles aren't bad but the majority of his tracks that weren't released as singles are alot better, (ex the intro to the bootleg of food & liquor he bodied that)
