What are some of your favorite CDs? Keep in mind, i listen to mainly southern rap. NOT LAFFY TAFFY TYPE BULLSHIT/HORRIBLE CLUB TRACKS, but real southern rap. I mean, i'll check out whatever. I prefer some shit that is pretty lyrical, and also has some nice beats. I prefer underground. dont name any 50 cent or game CDs.

Oh welll, you might wanna check out some of Z-Ro's shit hes a pretty decent underground southern rapper, and jr's best album is History in The Making(2006), Ludacris- Release Therapy, T.I- King, Lil Wayne - Waynes World 4.5 , Outkast - Stankonia or Idlewild.

aight i'll give you some good shit to listen to

don't pick up jr writers album, hes alright lyrically but his songmaking ability is shit, it sounds like a mixtape

z-ro's new album is trash, pick up trae's, its alllllllllot better

trick daddys new album is good for what it is don't expect any lyrical shit or deep shit, its just a good album to bump

outkast - idlewild, their worst album to date imo, it has some nice tracks but overall it ain't that great

luda's new album isn't bad, the one thing it lacks is replay value, i listened to it a few times but never got the urge to listen to it again

young dro's album - best thang smoking is actually pretty good hes one of the few artists in the south that can make bumpable music and still come off lyically when he wants to

field mob - light poles & pine trees is probably the best album out of the south this year, it has some poppy/club tracks but sean j and smoke still come off on them

heres some underrated cds that came out this year

main flow & 7L - flow season, main flows a beast and 7L's nasty with the beats definately worth copping

juggaknots - use your confusion, breezly brewin is nasty & herowin's probably the illest femcee next to jean grae

ken starr - starr status, hes not very well known but dude is ill with it, hes on some little brother type shit production wise but its alot less bland imo

louis logic & jj brown - misery loves comedy, great album thorough in all aspects

scarface presents the product - one hunnid, face isn't on this as much as the product but it's still a solid album

inspectah deck - the resident patient, easily the best release from wu tang since supreme clientele

tech n9ne - everready the religion, tech easily has the best flow & delivery and rap, and his pen game is just as ill

lol killah knows every fuckin rapper in the game man...true enough idlewild is outkast's worst album but its more creative if u ask me....and the lyrics are pretty good....andre 3000 is a versatile dude....as far as young dros album...it is pretty straight i prefer the beats more than the production but he is pretty decent lyrically, its just his tone, voice, and speed doesnt match with his lyrical ability(in my opinion)
