Folkz On My Msn Messenger

My messenger wont sign in keeps telling me im not connected to the internet, when obviously, i am, then when it discovers i am, it tells me that the service is down, then its tries again and says that my contact list is not avalible or in read only mode, so I guess i wont be on messenger for a while, if possible, I could use some help, Thanks.
