what do you mean? what program do you use? if you use photoshop, just use the text tool. Just click it on the canvas and you'll be able to type. If ithe type tool doesn't do it automatically, create a new layer and then put your type on the new layer.

gimp is a one legged program dat hobbles around and runs a fast circle...its really quite interesting...lol

Ok ttramatik theres a text tool like 8th said, or you can go to Filters>Text>Freetype
