There's a lot of complexity in the prose of my text
So I know what I've said might go over your head
I'd dumb down, but there's too much we're going against
Got more to cover than cops who sell dope to the feds
Rap is pretty much the only thing I chose to invest
So you can always fuckin' count on me to go into depth

Yo my soul is a mess 'cause I'm always coping with stress
I'd stop smokin this ses if I wasn't broke and depressed
Wouldn't owe any debt if that first poem would've said:
Green controls your life, and oh yeah, roses are red
Chase called today to say they've frozen my checks
Lately I've been spending most my time alone at a desk
Gettin flows off my chest, or at home in my bed
I don't know, I'm just feelin less social I guess
There's not a place in town I'd wanna go with my friends
That could ever justify all the dough that I'd spend
The other day, this average kinda girl wrote me a text
Blatant flirtation, I guess she was hopin for sex
Wrote a mean reply, and my homie hit send
Felt bad for a second, then we were joking again
Crazy how that one girl made me colder to them
If your heart's broke, does it mend? Can you close it again?
If I don't change my attitude, I'll be alone in the end
But in this sick way, I also kinda hope that I am
Recently discovered that most of these clones are pretend
And all I really need's a place to scribble notes with a pen
I know that this life's bullshit goes to the left
I guess I'm just stressin' cuz I don't know what is best
Two choices: Accomplish all the goals on my quest
Or be like St. Peter and keep gettin stoned till my death
I saw a ghost when I slept, knew when I woke that I'd dreamt
That he'd decide for me if I kept holdin my breath[/center]
