I thought about doing that but didn't want it to be another sampled song where they just add drums over the original and don't really change anything. I like the semi-choppy sampled songs just cuz I like the way it sounds once the vocals are layed down and smoothes it all out. I'm a little disappointed because I googled to find out if any popular songs had sampled the original and came up with some old RBL Posse shit and some Charles Hamilton.. didn't even know about the Mary J. joint lol. I was mad as hell thinkin I stumbled across something that hadn't been tapped yet... smh. Just can't keep up with the sample joneses lol. Time to start going international and REALLY diggin in the crates.

or just start from scratch people are making samples out of anything theres so many fucking samples ya better off plus exploring something new is always dope.

Yeah I feel you there. I do a lot of original shit too but always been a sucker for a good sampled jawn if done right and not just a sample loop with drums. Samples are good for when I hit a creativity wall lol. Load sample, chop, fuck around til I find a pattern I like, etc lol. Too easy.

i feel you thats sorta what i do when i have a bunch of original beats im stuck on and cant write too, I throw on the the dope industry beat that everyone already killed and spitfrye or write fyre just to get back in my creative mindset.
