havent been on this site in a really long time, and wasnt that active. but been workin on new stuff and hoping u guys are down for a listen.
just recorded this track "Barbed Wire"
me rapping, me on the beat, and i also did the mixing stuff. i might change a bit later.

yo i thought this track was tight man.. i like the vocal sample you used for the chorus.. i felt your lyrics went hard on it.. but the Rap vocals were a slight low.. making it a lil difficult to hear what you where saying but this track was nice man.. props

DEF lower the beat or turn ur vocals up... either one of those you're golden dude.... this is nice... i liked this... really deep... whos on the hook??? or was that on the beat??? if someone else you know did the hook... turn it up a bit... with a slight reverb.... other than that dude... it sounds really nice man.... its a banger... keep droppin man i liked the flow...

If you mixed the chick ... yeah ... well done with the echo/reverb.

I don't think your levels sound that bad really ... unless you fixed it between now and the previous comments. Seems alright to me. Oh damn! ... You've actually got something to say. Ha ha. Good! ...

The Good: First off. You're a writer. You know how to sound good and say something. Most cats just try to sound good ... and don't say shit. I keep writing while their songs play. With yours ... I stopped writing and just listened. Probably the best compliment I could give.

There were only a couple spots where you made a rhyme just to make it ... DUDE! you got the potential to make some excellent songs ... Try to keep condensing your message ... edit your writing till every bar is just condensed YOU.

thanks for the feed. ill definitely turn up the vocals a bit. if some people can hear the lyrics but some people cant, i figure it wouldnt hurt to turn it up.
and that vocal on the hook is a sample. its actually a dude, and hes not singing in english, so i kept it kinda faint cuz im thinkin of addin my own hook on top of that. maybe ill turn it up a lil tho and see how it sounds.
