Why don't we implement different categories of ranks?this could work really well...
The Rankings could go like this :
Lightweights
+(Top Lights)
Middlewights
+(Top Mids)
Heavyweights
Vets

The Noobs Obviously Start As Noobs...N The To Elevate To The Next Rank,You Need Ta Beat 3 Kats From A Rank That's Above Yours...For Eg :
If A Light Beats 3 Mids...Then That Lights Elevates To Mid..We Can Have A Tourney To Determine The Rankings From Now.

Then That Way We Can Also Have A Light Champ,Mid Champ Etc..
Could Be Kool If You Could See A Persons Rank On His/Her Profile Too.

I can see how this would be benefitting to the site, but I dont think a tourney would be easy to put together for something like this. We would have to have alot of people sign up, then there would obviously be alot of no shows because of that.

There should be another way to determine who belongs in what class at this point, then the system you have for moving up in weight classes sounds like a pretty good idea.

The Obvious Vets Can Rank Erbody According To Their Writtens And Battles...Like The Likes Ov Murk,Quix,Arv,Scott etc..But There Might Be A Better Idea Ta Determine The Classes.

Well, I could put up a thread with everyone's name that currently battles or is on site pretty often, and everyone can give a ranking based on what they think or know.... And if they dont know about a specific person, they dont have to give a rank for that person.

well at a sight i used to be at they had a section for ranked drops
and only the Mods and admin may vote @ first.. but then ..once your ranked you may vote on newbies or unranked members drops in this said section..
you just give everyone a week to vote on it.. and there ya go....

if a member thinks they got an unfair ranking they need to beat a member from the an upper rank to move up..or Submit another Ranked drop (only allowed one Ranked drop per month.) this gives the member a chance to show elevation..in case they dont battle alot..anyway li could totally help out if you need more detail @ Kuhler..mk whut ya think..

I actually think that's a pretty good idea also.

Something more that could add to this. Sounds like we might be getting some kind of system together.

Yeah, BEAT a member of a higher ranking OR submit another ranked drop, one per month isnt too long at all in that respect, I think.

yeah tru's idea seems dope.
to make it fair tho i suggest glamtrash does the actual voting as she aint a battler herself.

Wouldn't you rather have someone that battles actually do the voting then? Just makes sense.

As for the idea, I see slight advantages and that's decent enough. We'd need a far more active battlin' scene to have 3 different classes. We could at least add a rookie or middleweight title to the mix but someone has to be responsible in creating a tough criteria. I think the only logical thing to do would be to establish a group of users..mods, admins, and common posters to balance out the voice.

she knows how to vote a battle........ we would need an unbiased decision and as rankings would have no effect on her she would be an ideal candidate.
