I enjoyed this battle a lot. Very solid efforts on both sides!

Doomology:
Beat 5: The intro and beat were a very good choice to your style. I felt like this beat was meant for you. Perfect!
Flow 3: It was pretty on point through out your verse; I felt it faltered here and there and your breath control slipped a couple times. Your aggression in your voice pulled you through, it sounded like you wanted to tear him apart.
Content 4: I enjoyed your word play a lot, I could visualize everything you were saying, you could have used more punches towards your opponent instead of Doom's this and Doom's that. You could have closed your verse up a bit better, it sounded like it stopped abruptly.
Quality 4: Your voice needed to be toned down a bit, I thought it was higher in some parts of your verse. Again you sounded really brutal, just work on engineering your voice better.

Defiance:
Beat 4: The intro and build up were spot on; the beat sounded really repetitive. Your flow and content I think would have pulled through with a beat with change ups or more going on behind the drums.
Flow 5: Your flow structure was really on point through out your verse; everything was pretty spot on. Perfect!
Content 3: Again your flow was spot on. You had a lot of good punches; I felt in terms of word play Doom was on a higher level than yours and his visualization really took it here.
Quality 4: Again the beat was a bit low but your vocal quality was perfect. Turn the beat up next time.

Overall: Even though my vote shouldn't count since Doom is my brother, I think Doom edged Defiance with the beat choice and word play but Defiance edged Doom on his delivery. Really good battle i give it a 8/10!

both of you had some nice verses. were they direct? noooo not really, but nice verses none the less.

Def- You chose a nice beat man. i think it fit your style well, especially with what you were trying to do. i swear everytime i hear some new shit from you, it sounds better and better. that was definately the case here. your flow was pretty tight throughout the whole track. nice rhymeschemes scattered throughout which really made your verse stand out. punches were pretty basic. not very hard hitting. they were more like jabs, and i was jus waiting for the haymaker. jabs still work in some occasions tho. i wish you focused more on doom. seemed like you tried to just come as nasty as possible on delivery. and you did, but with better punches, i think your verse coulda been so much more polished. like i said tho, nice verse either way.

Doom- First time hearin ya man. didnt really know what to expect. you had a great beat on this definately. the little intro set it up nicely for your verse. dope delivery man. its a new sound for me. you also have dope ass rhymeshemes and a nice use of vocab on this. same thing that i mentioned with def tho, not very many hard hitting or noticeable punches to really make me say, "damn, he took this shit easily." get me? your delivery is tight no doubt man. i dont think anyone can deny that. you have a cool ass grimy voice which makes your shit easy to listen to. i like this man. i'd like to hear what you can do on actual tracks. nice verse


im gonna count out quality cus really, why the fuck would that be a deciding factor???? anywho,


flow- defiance. might be cus im just used to his flow. doom had a solid verse, but alotta the fx and cuts werent working for me.

presence- doom. alot more aggression on his delivery which made the verse more battle oriented.

delivery- defiance. had a smoother feel to it. all that work you puttin in is definately showin.

punches- eeeeh, i wasnt really impressed with either so ill say tie.

this was a cool battle. good to see the activity pickin up. personally tho, imma go with defiance, jus for the fact that he had more of an original sound to his. doom it sounds like your trying to make that grungy voice, which kinda takes away from the originality of it.

doom and defiance, yall need to decide if mindscapes vote counts.

ya'll didnt post up Stips so i'll just drop some

Flo- Def -doom fell off a bit a couple times
Deliv-Doom i was feelin the hard delivery style
Mic Presence-Tie both did well here
Punches-Def i just liked the way directed his puns not great but edged it over doom imo.
Rhymescheme-i was real impressed with dooms rhymescheme
Creativity-Tie
enjoyment-both

Well imo all the cats were pretty close ..i had to listen to both a few times.felt dooms deliv was way more suitable to a battle..but the way Def lined his lil punches and with the switch in flo from around bar 6.. he picked up this nice change up in flo and scheme wich brought it good flavor..doom came good to but fell off in a couple spots and it sounded
like he had to do alot of punch ins with his vocals cuz there were so many syll's in some lines..that hurt him a lil on this one..still a decent track tho bruh No Doubt ..

well @ first i didnt know how to Vote cuz both are pretty dope. Doom brought a hard Delivery style wich is my Preference but Def's Punches worked better imo..swo after breaking it down i found that it's even..
just goes to prove my point how close it is..so if it comes down to it in a battle i gotta go with Punches takin it..
