The Fight Within

Light a cigg for the calming effect, stretch, begin popping my neck
Feeling like I have a cough in my chest that's locked in til death
Everything is causing this stress! The world's back is facing me
Any and all armies attack adjacently, guns on straps that's aimed at me
Their bursts and blasts are chasing me, but I have nowhere to run
Back in a corner, should be loading my gun, didn't think of owning not one
The smoke's now froze in my lungs! Choked up on lack of success
I dream about a mask and a vest, go to a bank as groups are cashing their checks
Point to the ceiling, blasting a tech, while remaining relaxed and chilled
On the groud bodies collapse, so still... As I pack my bags with bills
How could you imagine that for thrills?! Something to get the blood flowing
Living every minute not knowing if some kind of promising plots growing
Or to get life right, you have one shot only! I didn't make it, I missed it
Put on the lipstick, cuz life's ass, you can kiss it for being a dipshit
Hell, only time my presence felt is during Christmas, on no one's gift list
While I witness the mission to give all the attention to future rich kids
I'm so far behind I cant view the finish! I havent been able to start it off
I put everything in it, heart and all, stand proud for myself, walking tall
Then like I'm on a lock and ball I often fall, bruised and battered
People watching let loose with laughter! As I pray for a noose and ladder
So I can give them some useless chatter! Truth is though, I'd lose that fight
If I knew I was destined to be doomed in life, I still couldnt do that right
Close my eyes, trying to persue a light, failing to see a another chance
Even after my hundredth glance, miles of traveling til I cant fucking stand
I guess that's just the plan, this is my destiny, this is the best of me
All the rest believe I'll always be a second seed as life's test procceeds
To check my reach, and pull the stars from my grasp! Persuit's starting to lack
My life's a joke, but hardly a laugh, like my words, which are probably just trash
