Lets look at a couple things here, Jay Z has had one good album, the black, and then he said he retired, came back with bullshit.

Next, battling is the ability to improvise, if you can't freestyle you're just a writer, or if not even that you just have flow. What good is that? I won't say that I don't listen to people like that, but there are limits.

And U-God and Masta Killa's albums were decent, you can't hate on Wu.
