Depth is dope, at least, when you're deeper than most,
Never boast relevance, I'm just preaching to ghosts,

Thoughts erode sediments, betterment, keeping it close,
Mental coasts where thoughts come and go in a flow,

Teeth on a floor, someone had to push it for more,
Wreath on a door, say goodbye and return to the corn,

Forever more these are truths at humanity's core,
Frail and shunned by most, is our sanity poor,

Is vanity sure or does it flee with youth in time,
Who draws the line, margin of truth in a rhyme,

A booth and a mic, start to blend sound and sight,
A moon and a night, dark making love to the light,

No use in a fight, does the hurt face or hurt fist win,
When the mace sprays does it leave a dent in the wind,

In an AK does the bullet have a name and a map,
In a kids grave, does he know it's more than a nap,

Born into traps, each generation greedier than the last,
The glass is empty, the needy never learn from the past,

Problems we face are ones we hate to ever claim true,
The only way to get straight is to elevate me and you.
