i knew it... i was right in the end there was nothing,

then with a flash of light i think i finally passed from life... moving so fast in flight
im grasping and tugging but grabbing on nothing... then i fall like I'm cast aside
a voice says "we are willing to leave ur past behind" i look the dark, there's nothing to see
i turn to run, and hear him again "why are you running from me" i gasped then struggled to breath

i say... but, i say with doubt

GOD.. the word echoed then faded out "its been a long time since age 9 was there nothing to pray about"
my parents died, i was 3, i was adopted they tortured me... that's when i prayed i prayed for help
"we have saved you a spot in heaven".. rage i felt.. i yelled out u dont exist so save ur self
i sat and i cried, tried to rationalize.. its the final grind of my passing mind i was sure of it
then god says "is it my fault did i let the earth get cursed and sick, i gave the garden, u worked with it"
then i felt a burden lift he said "I'll show what I've seen" we moved at light speeds it made my head numb
then fled from the heavens.. i was showed how he sneezed the big bang, started off Earth as a bread crumb
he showed how he mourned his dead son, he cried floods then some, then showed Adam and Eve as he left them
i watch and stand in aw.. i then believed the bible, hims and all i step up lose footing and begin ta fall
i look up perched he sits grinning, then earth i hit my body begins to jerk and twitch, im birthed again

The bible says that if you deny him he will deny you
And since I never believed in you God why am I with you?
All logic and scientology has now come in to question
For all my sins with no repentance why is Hell not where I'm resting?
I mean when the doctors pronounced me dead when I was shot at seventeen
Was that just medical break throughs helping me or part of Heaven's scheme?
Right now I'm feeling lost without a clue of which is my left or my right
And if I hadn't died would I have denied God for the rest of life?
