Galapagos ruins

Now this is a very obscure subject, I can find no books on it at all. In bout 1915, the Stevenage museum in America supposedley sent a handpicked crack team of scientists and scholars to investigate the ruins. It is said a "metal" library was found along with a number of proofs of an advanced race of people. When asked by the media about it, the Stevenage denied it ever happened and nothing has been heard of it since, hmmmm.

So I would appreciate if anyone could recommend books about it or even offer your thoughts, and anything you may have heard about it.
