This battle was rather difficult to judge because of its structure. Both of you should focus on some:

That way it is easier for your readers to identify rhyme schemes, or flow, or s everything else because they get to focus on finding those things less. Night, your on your way man, I've read over some more current battles, or others, not too shabby. Jsteel, I know you are on a cell phone with limited space, try writing line by line instead of bar by bar my friend. That way we can better identify your battles.
