Lets start the story of static off with a bang
i was always wreaking havoc, hadn't even earned my name
music made me ecstatic, i ain't even learned the game
family ain't picture perfect, momma wasn't in the frame
the prodigal son always searching for critical acclaim
being belittled and the dismissal led to his cynical brain
can't count how many time my pops and i came to blows
i know his love never stops but you know how it goes
sometimes we're friends but most the time we are foes
higher then the attic, i don't wanna feel the lows
high school was hell, i was awkward and strange
the rednecks and hicks just weren't ready for change
hooked up with some homies and started my grind
started doing some straight stupid shit, the retarded kind
on day got high and decided to spit a couple rhymes
instead of committing crimes i just spit a couple lines
