woke up dreary eyed with this pain in my brain/
like a virus filled computer, memorys hard to obtain//
so i leap out of bed in this unusual enviroment/
with sun blazing down i stop and just pause for a moment//
run to the bathroom, brush my face with cold water/
but my skin aint the same shade and this beard is corser//
a new ringtone sounds out of my new-found jeans/
i miss it but hear the voice on the answering machince//
voice harsh as it rasps "Kay get to work now"/
rush to store, have a smoke with what time will allow//
thoughts deep in my brain like a bottomless pit/
filling in the blanks but this jigsaw piece dont fit//
with work finished now i slowly stroll home/
in an enviroment so differnt to what i was shown//
then get on the internet, to relise my avvys got a goatee/
my username was king nep, confused but thats when it hit me//
slap bang in the face, ive just spent the day in his shoes/

Good morning United Kingdom im homeless an out in the streets//
No body greets and im hungry as fuck with no bread to eat//
So I get up roll some weed on my cardboard sleeper an see I got athletes feet//
This day couldn’t start off any worse its been six months since I’ve had a piece of meat//
I’m trying to cheat death and compete for a meal out the trash can//
Its either cockroaches or government pickups that decrease my life span//
As I think too myself I could have been a man if I stopped using contraband//
An I Never like condoms for protection so I got aids from a one night stand//
Go wash my hands in the public toilet since I don’t have basic sanitation//
I take a good look at myself in the mirror an plead to God for inspiration//
Should get started with my daily routine an beg at the train station//
So little gracious white folk wont even stop for a decent conversation//
I’ll try to convince myself one day i'll be realeased from emacipation//
The only way im gona make it out today is to steal a wallet or get a safe combination//

(BEEP BEEP)My alarm clock goes off I wake up from this nightmare face white I've lost complexion//
More than happy its not my life but that of deception//

Its a cat sweep to be honest. I felt as if you (deception), took the topic at face value, while you (nep), took it a step further to throw some jabs, which made a better read. I enjoyed both pieces, both had good substance, but i liked Neps twist in it better. Deception, i liked you battle verse, and nep, i liked your topical. Good battle youz two. Dont forget to link this thread with feed as well.

I thought Deception came at this with more of the obvious angle, while Nep was more creative with his approach on things. Both flowed pretty similar, but I think Nep's lines come off a little cleaner, though both of you should work on your multi's. Due to the above, Nep's verse was also more enjoyable.

I'd say the stories were tied as far as creativity goes. Flow was hard to find in either piece, but Nep just out rhymed Deception. A lot of Deceptions rhymes were too simple or too much of a stretch(water, coarser?). Gotta give this one to Nep.
