Just giving yall a taste of what Ruck has been up to. Verse one of the latest song I'm working on. Enjoy.

I've been hiding in the dark but its time to hit the light switch/
Trying to find a balance, but its hard when you're indecisive/
No pen to write with, i'll use my tears and my blood instead/
Over the years I feel like my spirit was underfed/
My fear is colored red from ripping women's hearts out/
Dripping wet, trying to sprint and ditch this dark cloud/
Grabbed life and grip it hard now, I swear I'm never lettin go/
I love to love but I never let my obsession show/
I never question those who chose a different passion/
I just wanna share my views, what I've witnessed and wish that didn't happen/
But if you're pissed or saddened, then I know I hit the proper chord/
I wanna heal the pain, but not the kind you visit doctors for/
Love is a toxic force you can deny but you cannot ignore/
The battle rages on even when you're exhausted and drop your sword/
Once you recuperate, you can seek vengeance, make amends or flee/
But in the end you'll see that nothing is ever meant to be/

I resort to lust, but I know that I'm destined for more/
Even though its depressing I'm on my second divorce/
My life's own recession, another chance at startin new/
With a sharpened view and my heart parked within a guarded tomb/
When the dark ensues is when you feel the sting of loneliness/
I see Cupid homing, if you could only miss, I think you owe me this/
I know he's pissed but I'm so sick of fighting/
Watching all these newly weds clashing thinking the shit's exciting/
Amidst the biting, slapping, back stabbin and screamin/
I kick back, relax on the curb laughing and dreaming/
The action's increasing, the street is a river of blood/
As Cupid delivers his drug from his bow and quiver above/
I've felt a similar buzz, a blend of adrenaline and serotonin/
Terror growin, love is war even if you're only there a moment/

These 2 verses were nice my dude
the emotion really shined thru in the second verse
I liked the vibe of the first one..I want to know what beat your writing on
and how long it's going to take to hear it
other then that the multi's were on point
the flow was there, and you did your thing my dude!

My Fav Line's..They Really Stood Out

One of my favorite writers on this site. This was a great read. Filled with emotion. Multies were on point and I kept and felt a dope flow as I read. I could never write about stuff too close to home. You're doing your thing man, keep at it.

Everything was dope but those lines stood out to me...
