Seems like people are interested in the idea, so now let's see if everyone wants to throw some dedication on it.
Obviously, I could do something charted with numbers and shit, so let's see if all the mods/admins/long term/solid short term members actually care and want to find out WHO is considered in WHAT weight division... Based on battling...

This could help show everyone where they're considered in the Illest forums, but ONLY if you participate. If you dont in this thread, I'm not wasting my time.

Here's the idea... You think of anyone's battles verse you have actually liked or noticed, and grade them on a one to five scale. After two weeks or so, depending on the popularity, we see what the median is individually based on an average, then can decide on the weight classes on that scale... Five weight classes.

If you're in it, then post up. I'll do so if everyone actually cares lol. I've learned a lesson by spending more time on here than I need to for nothing You're coice, guys!

^^^ If you're down, why not give a list of your own, with a scale of one to five (Five being the best) for each person? If there are enough people getting in on this by the time I get home later this evening, then I'll post up my list, and it's a LONG one.

Cadence - 5
Flip - 3
Orfadox - 4
Whothefuckever - 1

(I picked names for that list that don't really battle on purpose.)

um i dont know any really but i suggest that everyone that wants to be considered submit their name and link to at least one battle verse to be evaluated as ^^ it would be easier and if a battler is not ranked they should be considered amateur and as such should battle their peers to be placed and to expedite that process amateur battles will be judged when 5 judges vote 1-5 so they can be ranked

I could, and will, set something like that up, but only after I have some kind of initial list. Reason being, I need to know if this is even going to be worth my time.

oh yeah i think you'll also have more luck if you thin it down to three division or even four and we could do pound for pound tourneys bi monthly nfl playoff style 1 and done ya digg

That would be making this into a league, which will not be done because the consistantcy is NOT consistant.

well i know you track activity and i'm sure it would be easier to have four divisions picture this

say we have 8 heavy weights 16 middle's and 23 light weights

you put 2 heavy's in each div. and so on accordingly

you must battle everyone of your class all div.

then div. champ weightclass

then playoffs 1 and done

then pound for pound champ as you will be able to battle freely amongst classes however should a lower class win a catch weight battle it will get their weight up and vice versa idk but it could work then adjust divisions by activity

You're trying to make this into some kind of league, and that's not going to happen. First of all, we don't even have that many battlers on the site to begin with. Second, people always no show when you make matches for them. Everyone likes making their own matches whenever they want to.

I can agree that making divisions can/could help the site out. But any type of league is going to fall apart.

yes you battle who and when you want and once you have battled everyone in your class and leaders are are est. in their div. we move on to a short 1nDone for your belt

on a side note i suggest that scott's title become the pound for pound belt

I see what you are saying as far as everyone battling in their division and stuff, but I don't see a need to create a north west east and south division because there isn't enough people to seperate like that.

divisions would create participation because

if you want to move up weight classes you have to 1 beat everyone in your class or 2 beat someone in a higher class of your div.
now higher classes may be less likely to battle a lower class but should that battle take place and the underdog wins the higher class becomes that of the loser

in order to become div. champ you must have the most wins in your div. once you've battled all in your class(mods can base this on activity)

then 1ndone because theoretically belts are vacant who dont want one
