i hope i do this right. first drop in this thread. not sure how to upload. lemme know what u think. i tried to stay mellow with an abstract feel. felt good to me. lyrics ride well. just need a mic. lol

It's okay. The drum pattern can carry a flow well, but the string loop is too repetitive and short for my liking, making the beat somewhat boring. To me this sounds like the good beginnings of a solid beats, but I think it could definitely be improved with some extra effort. Bring in a few more change ups in the instrumentation and bring in a couple more layers of sound, and this could be solid.

Um... its rather simple, maybe another layer would be cool? If I'm not wrong, correct me if I am, drums are a loop in Dr. Rex right? ok, I'm on verse two, and more layer came, not what i was expecting, but nice i guess. A little too slow with the plucked guitar to the faster drums. Its an ok beat, but I'm rather sure Dr. Rex is to blame.

the vibe to it was pretty cool. guitar was alright. i think when the hook came in those sounds were a bit corny. other then that whatever the other guys said is prolly more helpful then what i can offer. just keep doin ya thing man.

ya its a rex sample with a few simple chops in it. evertime i tried to change it i lost my flow and needless to say when frustration took over i walked away. cut myself short i guess. i dont know if i get pissed at reason or my mind but either way i need to learn to step back and look at it from the outside. thanx for listening.
