The Best Thing I Think Would Be A Site Collab of The Best Audio Heads The Site Has, Or Releasing A Site Mixtape On Datpiff Or What Ever It Is Called. And Who Ever Is On The Mixtape Has To Promote It To Help Get The Word Out About The Artists And The Site?

Plus Who Ever Like/Loves The Site Can Also Promote The Site And The Mixtape. So Everyone Can Participate In Promotions For The Site.

i second ProVerseIdy idea.. the best way to promote is show what the site has to offer... there is so many different styles and flows on this site.. it would be hard not to catch the eye of a variety of people. and so many of the audio artist live all around.. Mixtape definitely

On that note, a music page on soundclick or reverb titled Illestlyrics with the hottest tracks we have, obviously with the permission of their respective artists.

You have to do your own idea.

Only one person can take credit.

- Hire a sky writer to fly over DJ Kool Herc's old home in the South Bronx and write "illestlyrics.com"

- Organize an audio contest where emcees submit tracks that are solely focused on illestlyrics.com and why it is better than other similar kind of websites, put it together as a mix tape and challenge other similar kind of websites to match the quality level, having some of their audio heads making tracks focused on how ill their particular site is. (My thought with this is it might be a nice way to actually build some positive relationships with other sites that have text and audio battles and creation chambers, and as long as you feel confident that your site is truly better than the others than any kind of collaboration with other sites shouldn't pull people away from here towards they're site but might encourage some people to drift this way if their not feeling that there's enough activity over there.)

- Audio mixtape idea mentioned a couple posts back is a good idea too, but it's already been mentioned so I won't go into any detail on my thought with that.

- Get a few cats to put some audio battle creations to video, make some good quality battles in video and post em on youtube.

- Get Rugged to keep interviewing as many ill underground emcees as possible (convince him to try to interview any of the Quannum cats-- Gift of Gab, Lyrics Born, Jurassic 5, DJ Shadow-- or maybe DJ Spooky, or some Def Jux artists, or Rhyme Sayers, or anyone else whose got such a large underground following that their practically not really underground) and hopefully some expansion into more well known emcees would become ever more possible.

- Convince some people to create illestlyrics.com sponsored open mics all over the US, and have them video record the turn out. Give some outstanding prize to whoever rocks it.

Pay for a commercial to be put on MTV or BET might generate some shit. You could throw in about illest radio and up to date info on hip hop news, as well as the interviews.

Have a huge 128 man tournament with a large sum for the winner, or some other cool ass prize. You could advertise the tournament at any site possibly found, and have a team to locate those sites and advertise the tournament.

Find someone famous thru the hip hop community and try to get them to post here on a regular basis. That would be kick ass.

get some foreign whores who know some english & have a scheduled day where they regularly get naked on webcam in the chatroom and act whorish for illest members then once that gets established have the days be random to inspire people to be on the site more often, preferably eastern european whores most of the countries are pretty shitty there and they're white so people not in the know won't realize they're from romania or wherever, could go with asians as well but people will probably easily recognize they're not from the US

i created an advert for illestlyrics on facebook iv also asked a designer friend of mine to do some tshirts and other things to help promote the site
