This is the offical thread for the topical tourney. Anyone that signs up should also give an e-mail account to be reached at or some other means besides this site of communication. If you do not, then I will not take your sign up seriously, and you will NOT be added to the list of participants.

Every topic for every battle will be different so no one can mock anyone's idea. Everyone in the tournament will be REQUIRED to vote. Every verse length will depend on which round of the tournament you are in. First round starts off at a lower count than the last round, for example. The catagories will remain the same, and should be the basis for the voters when determining a winner. Creativity, flow, and consistancy are the catagories for voting, as of right now. This isnt in stone as another catagory or two might be added to this list.

This tournament will feature 16 writers. Once 16 have signed up, the match-ups will be determined and the forum will be created. Prizes will be award to the winner, and POSSIBLY the runner-up, but what exactly the prizes are has yet to be determined...
