Walking around with a high head
and a 24 hr 5 o'clock shadow
That turns into more of a grandfather clock.
The cuckoo slept in today along with my dreams
because aspirations are for those with ambition.
Staggered out of its door with crossed eyes and hoarse voice
without care its spring rusted thru sending weathered wings to the floor
never to tweet about the time again..
but there's no one there to listen anyway,
so why should there be held any shame?
thank you for your song, but it's worn thin,
and the time has come to ignore it like a whisper in the wind.
Your poise alarms me like an unrequested wakeup call..
and I start to envy the cuckoo in his glorious, godsent fall

word. ya i'll figure everything out. i'll be throwin down some indi hop too.. just give me some time and deal with my ignorance til i figure this place out haha

Descent poetry man...as i see it... short drop...not much rhyming in the first half but like i said i view this as a poem...and as a poem its tight

Yeah I can totally picture this as spoken poetry. Good shit, I like the subtle descriptiveness. Sounds contradictory, but I think you know what I mean lol. Describing more with less. Props..
