Sitting the day away, watching my shadow diffuse-the-room
As my mentality remains the same, and my dreams refuse-to-bloom
I misuse-the-noon and introduce-the-moon, waiting in the dark to reduce-the-tune
Now my listenin's-silent like a deaf-lyricist yet im dissin-em-violent
A glistenin-tyrant with death-near-his-wrist like a prison-environment
With different-identities, y-try-pretend?
When thou shall live-with-thy-enemies and die-by-ur-friends
These demons lurking-at-night-to-seek-rape-in-humanity
So i'm still searching-for-light-to-escape-the-insanity
And working-to-fight-to-beat-Satan-thru-vanity

some if not most might not understand this so feel free to leave negative feedback.. it may seem more of a rap style due to multis although who's to say multis and the "a a" form makes it non-poetic

The title doesn't fit the poem to me. But I didn't write it. So why is it called mental evolution sir?

well evolution is done thru time.. and this is all taking place is my mind... so its more as if my mentality's growing to conquer since i start off with patience and end with some action... so that would be the evolving part of it mentally.. therefore that's y the title is wat it is.. n e how im not sure if this would be considered a poem to u guys but its not something i USUALLY do so i figured it mine as well be a poem... i really just did it out of boredom

i'll see wat i can do.. im not much of a poetic type of person becuz i prefer alot of flow and rhyming which turns poems into rap although i plan on dropping another one soon

lol no becuz poetry is usually alot deeper than rap and uses a different approach... although as a rapper i guess i can say my poetry has improved... although its not as dramatic and is read at a faster pace..i think a poet can do the same thing vice versa and it'll probably be somethin like immortal technique or tupac

this did have a really deep topic, but ekoms was right, a real poet writes in very intricate mettaphores, which are trickier to do then wordplay and similies,
