tho if there is a selection of beats provided to pick from then people could just pick one they feel good about, then eliminate it from the list until like the semi finals where u should be able to bring ur own beat...

Taking the time out for emcees to choose their own beat from a provided list may delay the battles. Definitely something to consider though, depending on whether or not both emcees use the same beat if one emcee brings their own beat it will be anonymously listed to both battlers
