Either way, when you write a battle verse just remember not to try and talk about yaself too much. Don't just diss someone but try and throw a punch. And when you throw a punch, try to be creative. Think, "has a nigga said this before" or "how could I flip this to sound dope". Use everything you can against them, use their name against them, their profile, age, location, whats in they sig, what you've seen happen to them on the site..in other words...be as personal as you can.

thanks a lot flip... i've read it all... now i know what to do... i'm used to battlin' in romanian and it's a little hard to think and write english but i'm startin' to get the hang of it.... cuz i have the shit in my head and it sounds cool but when i drop it on the paper it sounds like is not mine... and i have to change it. Check my battles from now on and tell me if you see an improvement!
