Still remember the snow, still remember the cold.
I was 5 years old, woke snortin my nose.
Pop's said he had to go, for reasons unknown.
Wouldn't speak, tightened his cheeks.
Streached his lips, gave me a hug, touched my head wit a kiss.
His kid shrugged, and he left it at that, took a left at the door... never came back.
You taught me a lot when you left those steps.
Live my life the the fullest never show regret.
Because of you dad, imma never look back.
Broken home had to stay just to keep it in tact.
...crack, zig zag's and cigarette's. Mom's drug of choice never left the bed.
Landlord needs rent, I need a check, had to work a 9 ta 5 to keep the house from a mess.
And you bet, my chedder's never flowin right.
Always in debt, checks never show in time.
