Fabolous don't underestimate a nigga cuz he went mainstream he is still joe's father just a lot more richer and he always slips in the craziest punchlines even in his R&B tracks and makes sense delivering a strong message in each verse hes always on point...Joe will never go as mainstream as fab even if he wanted to and fab puts out way more credible verses than joey wether on remixes or his own tracks...theres only 1 Joe Budden verse i always quote and its the one from on da spot with green latern....idk if fab has a verse as powerful as that but that verse is like a blue moon coming from joey..

i like Fab... but damn dude... Joey could murder Fab IMO... no... Joey won't go as mainstream as Fab... but thats what fucked Fab up... when he went mainstream n started doin those R&B collabs... i think he just lost his will to murder a dude... i dunno... i think Joey would come out the victor if they ever faced off...

if were talkin punchlines Fabolous shits all over Joe Budden. Both tried to go mainstream with Fabolous having more success although Losos Way was horrible in my opinion. Joe Buddens cool at what he does tho. hes not what im into but seems to have found his lane where he can put his little albums out without having to conform.

well budden is more gangsta n would go hard all over fab but imo budden is weak compared to when fab goes hard. i think it would be alot closer than anyone would think but from skill of writin and spittin ima have to give this to fab...

Ah god, another joe budden reference by Haz. id give it to fabo any day of the week also. i think you give budden way too much credit for being deep. sure, he's a little more poetic than most street cats, but when it comes down to the fundamentals, fab shit's on budden. he gets much more respect in the game than budden. budden's always on youtube crying and this and that. anyways, this isn't about the characters behind the names, its about the music. fab's punches are slicker, his wordplay is top notch. i like budden, i think he's a talented cat, but hes definitely the worst cat in slaughterhouse lyrically. if you replaced joey with fabo when he has his game face on, shit would be even nicer. besides, i think his style would mesh better with the rest of slaughterhouse anyways. i still think joey's best track is calm down. but like mentioned, fabo's breathe is a monster of a track. both are worthy of comparison in my opinion, but fabo is the better lyricist in my eyes.
