You really like the synthy bass don't you. Half the time I think it works well and half the time I think it's just too much. In this case, I think it works, though I still really keep hoping to hear something with a different kind of bass in it. Individually in many of these tracks I think it works, but if I was to listen to a CD of yours straight through, I think I would get kind of bored with the bass.

yeah i can see why you'd think that from the selection you've heard i use a variety of different basses though and ironically of the 30 or so tracks on my sc there might only be one or two more with the saw synth style bass you're referring to, i tend to use sub basses the most actually cuz i like the clear punchyness in the attack & room it leaves for other instruments, i typically only use saw style basses on synth heavy beats or westcoast or other synth/acoustic mixes where it seems to fit

i don't really post much material on here cuz as you've probably seen the beats section isn't nearly as active as the others & i don't get much if any feedback usually, i'll throw up a few newer beats and some old beat cds i did tonight for you & other new folks to check out sucks that you can't peep sc cause i have 230+ tracks on there
