that shit is old as helll!!...lol....ummm...does it connect to ur computer thru USB?...if so..u prolly dont even need the M audio sound card..it should be recognized as its own sound card.....if not...then its the way u got the m audio set up in ur sound options....annnd depending on da program ur using...u gotta set it to use the m audio card or the tascam...again..depending on wether or not the tascam connects directly to the PC or not...like my mixer does....and its my sound card..everything runs thru it....even wen im not recording....im sure if u look some shit up on google ull get some better info......

i looked around n couldnt really find shit...so basically...if u connect it to the m audio n the m audio is connected to ur PC...then u wouldnt want to set up ur recording program to use the M audio sound card...n then from there u should be set

Talk about your mid-90's equipment. It must need some type of sound-interface is my guess. Instruments that old aren't stand alone. Hard to tell without actually seeing it up in-person.

i'd say just use the m-audio soundcard and plug your mic into that directly something that old probably doesn't sound all that great & isn't going to be that useful unless you're recording with more than one mic
