Plex
Ruckus
I knew the greatest risk was to further your relationship, I hated it/
I wanted you back together, but the idea of Forever made me sick/
that's a Common denominator when you live with a monster maker/
I thought Mom was safer, but lifes a bitch, a non stop complicator/
being rich isn't too nice, you won't notice me flaunting paper/
I hate Dad's new wife, but, I'm ain't making the calls, I'm an operator/
I'm holding my heart, you can shock me later, I feel so lonely/
I first started noticing marks when you were lifting the groceries/
you know me, I watched you , oh so closely, I wouldn't let bro see/
I even focused on your nose bleeds, if only you would have told me/
your marriage wasn't going to proceed, it was exploding/
bro didn't know it, subconsciously he had a blind notion/
misery is a fine potion, you spent most of your time coping/
mind broken, you'd throw back a signal, but you never left a line open/
I thought you wouldn't want interference, too strong of an inner spirit/
it wasn't because you didn't hear it, in truth you were incoherent/
too many drugs accounted for your thin appearance, when I hold this pen/
it feels we are more closer then, we ever been, I want to come home again/
You and dad severed, the past is remembered in doses/
Thought you had it together, there was never a moment/
Where I asked for better, you were mad whenever I noticed/
That you were sad, your arms had the track record to show it/
It started with scratches, I knew our mother was blue/
When summer's in bloom and you're wearing sweaters to cover your wounds/
My brother had moved, I suffered amidst the madness/
Learned to stitch your slashes while he was with dad livin lavish/
He didn't have this, no struggles with you guzzlin drugs/
Or scrubbin the tub after tuggin you from a puddle of blood/
No troubles mending you up and tending your cuts/
Pretending he's tough when his friends ask why he's defending a slut/
My sense in a rut, no energy to match your sickness/
I would have went with dad if I knew you'd be that cataclysmic/
I had planned to fix it, but you were a plague and we knew it/
So much pain and agony, thanks for dragging me through it/

This ole emotional shit LOL... for real tho..
I always get a kick out of topical posts...
The delivery was smooth on both parts.
Didn't compremise the flow to get points across (which is done so rarely in most cats shit)
Plex, gotta say that puddle of blood line was tight as hell
Ruck you always on point (especially wit the operator line)
This ain't a sleeper.

I think you've got em backwards, RR. Plex had the operator line & Ruck had the puddle of blood line. But yeah, this is real shit right here folks, straight from the heart. Please don't let this be your last collab, you're 2 of the most entertaining emcees on the site so it's always a pleasure to read anything including the both of you.
Much respect,
$aw

dope collab here. the two of you are definitly well suited.
Plex
I thought Mom was safer, but lifes a bitch, a non stop complicator/
being rich isn't too nice, you won't notice me flaunting paper/
I hate Dad's new wife, but, I'm ain't making the calls, I'm an operator/
^^^^
good shit here. i liked the operator line
that's a Common denominator when you live with a monster/
^^^^
this was the only bit out of the two verses that threw me off the flow. probably due to differing accents but monster didnt seem to rhyme with anything.
your marriage wasn't going to proceed, it was exploding/
bro didn't know it, subconsciously he had a blind notion/
misery is a fine potion, you spent most of your time coping/
mind broken, you'd throw back a signal, but you never left a line open/
^^^^
this bit was dope. overall a good verse.
ruckus
That you were sad, your arms had the track record to show it
^^^^
clever line. my highlight of the collab
Pretending he's tough when his friends ask why he's defending a slut/
My sense in a rut, no energy to match your sickness/
I would have went with dad if I knew you'd be that cataclysmic/
I had planned to fix it, but you were a plague and we knew it/
So much pain and agony, thanks for dragging me through it
^^^^
the whole thing was good but i particulalrly enjoyed the ending. lots of emotion
overall a great collab. i liked how you got the emotion across in a simple way without over complicating things. that said both verses had a couple of clever lines. you two should collab more often. you have a very similar styles. defintily a cohesive piece

This was a sick collab. found the verse in my notebook and had to read plex's verse. Definitely a lot of illness in here. The simple complexity and imagery are great. Definitely need to collab again.

Yo Ruck, thanks for uppin this, it was a real dope read. Both of the two of you seemed to have faded off from the droppin writtens path. Since I've been on this site I don't think either of you have dropped anything new, but goddamn I wish you would. If either of you ever up for a written collab let me know, both of you got a writing style and a flow pattern that I really appreciate.

Nice ish, fam.
U both stayed on topic with some complex substance.
Felt the emotion through out the entire piece.
Real talk right hurr! but I expect nothing less from U both
A truely beastly piece.
