I'm looking for stuff that's mostly underground, gotta be ill, but have enough of a fan base where I can find their shit online and get it. Elzhi's solo album is tight. I like him better solo than with Slum Village for some reason. Another cat gone solo is Evidence from Dilated Peoples. I had the priveledge of meeting him after his show touring with Brother Ali, BK One and Toki Wright on Wednesday night (I'm home on leave). Dude is cool as fuck and rocked that show hard as hell. Best artist I've seen live so far. For real, everyone came to see Ali being that he's one of Minnesota's own, but man... Evidence stole the show lol. Dude in the front row was singing his shit and Evidence pulled his ass up on stage and let him rap it with him. Hella nice show, great way to kick off my two weeks home.

Fun fact about Ali: He's Albino, and if I remember correctly he's legally blind.
