Who do you reckon peeps should watch out for ?

For me it'd deff have to be Drake and Nicki Minaj who in my opinion is the strongest femcee i've ever heard. She sings too.

Saying all these new school cats is whack is like saying hip hop is dead .
There are some new emcees that have really impressed me and i doubt im the only one.

i don't think they are wack i just don't like them i don't like mainstream i wont listen to it id drive in silence before i listen to soulja boi lady gaga da b day sex song and other shit man not sayin their bad just sayin i don't like them but im 2 person and yes i think mainstream is killing hip hop

Mainstream rap sucks. Period. It has since the early 90s. BUT, if you think that there is nothing good being dropped in 2009, yall need to open your eyes, minds, ears, and get the fuck off the computer for a minute and go hit some shows, go rummage through your local record store, shit even browse Amazon if you must be near a computer screen at all times. There are amazingly dope cats in damn near ever major metropolitan area dropping hot shit continuously, you just have to find em. If you think recent hip-hop is dead or sucks, you're not looking hard enough. Try some of these cats, you may like, you may not, but all have recently (somewhat) dropped albums and are dope is hell (in my opinion):
