Talk radio host Michael Savage is considering legal action against Britain's top homeland security official after she released today a list grouping him with terrorists and neo-Nazi murderers banned from entry because the government believes their views might provoke violence.

So yeah. Michael Savage was banned from entering the UK because of his political opinions. They have grouped him with murders, terrorists, nazis, and other wack jobs that support violence, all BECAUSE OF HIS (NON-VIOLENT, PATRIOTIC) VIEWS.

You may not know who Savage is. Even if you do, you may disagree with him 100% on everything. Wonderful. That's why this country is (was) great. Differing opinions, healthy debate, etc. But no. This is a brave new world. If you have opinions that the super-enlightened, ultra-tolerant liberals find offensive, you should be shut-up, not allowed to speak, banned from whatever country/venue, and probably locked up. (Again, liberals are very tolerant, unless you disagree with ANYTHING they have to say, then you are a mindless racist, who should shut up. It's very Tolerant.)

And it's not just about Savage. What if some day YOUR beliefs are considered "against" what the government finds "acceptable" ?

But nah, that'll never happen.....

EXACTLY. You have preachers openly preaching violence, and that's fine. Whereas this is a talk show host giving his personal opinion, NEVER advocating violence, and he is banned from the country. Wonderfully tolerant.

Yeah anyone preaching religion is preaching bullshit in my eyes but they have every right to do it. not really got a problem. ive got a problem when they try and blow our airport, our nightclubs, football stadiums, trains, buses..etc. america dosent have the same terrorism problem we do here simply because we let these people in and dont deport them when we have the chance. plus most of the terrorists here are british born muslims influenced by foreigners allowed to speak in this country. dosnet matter what religion it just happens to be muslims this time. the IRA were Catholics and we didnt come down hard enough on them either. never mind nazi clans expanding its the taliban expanding in Pakistan that people should be worried about.

and 8th for the Savage guy i dont know what the feeling of the population is. its not the sort of thing that gets mentioned in the pub lol. i only seen the article on the news. the feeling seemed to be he had a good case to sue since he dosent advocate violence. honestly nobody here, including myself would have heard of him and his views before this so it kinda backfired on our government and defeats the purpose of banning him. on a side note some australian "dr death" is allowed to go on a tour of Britain advising the best methods of suicide. i though euthanasia was banned here too.
