Dead Silence has been one of the most consistent emcees since he arrived on Illest in early 2007.
He spans a wide variety of subjects evident best in his new song "The Call" where he discusses his relationship with his estranged girlfriend.

How much has Dead Silence improved over the last couple years?
Complexity: I would say that he has elevated more than just about anybody.
He is retired from text as of right now, but when he did "keystyle", he danced through the alphabet effortlessly.
Do you think Dead Silence is an underrated writer?
Ekoms: ye, no doubt his multis are always on point. his flow gets fucked up sometimes be cuz of his complexity

Kurse: Ya know it's funny you ask cuz I've been thinkin about talkin to D.S. about possibly being on the squadd. Even though most of us are here in the Chi area...he'd be somewhat like Diverse. Div is the only homie on the team that isn't here wit us in the flesh. But we still make bangaz! Shit...me and D.S on a track...mannn, it'd be over!!!
He has done other things over time to help bolster the site. He had an extremely popular first episode for his own podcast.
