Alot of other artists as well as various audioheads constantly ask me how I get my sound so crisp and clean as well as what type of equipment do I use. So instead of explaining over and over again to what it is I use behond the scenes...here's a video that pretty much explains it all. Also for those locally to the Chicagoland area who might be curious as to what I have here in the lab that'll improve your sound...this is it. So if you're interested in renting studio-time...be sure to contact me and we'll discuss negotiable rates.

Also feel free to either post up vids/pics of your studio or recording areas...or ask any questions reguarding mine.

my keyboard looks real similar to that its a casio too its old as hell and the stock sounds are shit so i just use it as a midi controller i'mma cop a motif in the near future

good informative vid covering all the basics of what people need to record

thought you had a booth though? or did you do some sound proofing to the room? if you wanna get your sound a lil cleaner you should look into a portable booth or sound proofing the room

Yea..that's the same as my keyboard...I use it through a midi connection. Stock sounds are decent...but the ones in my production software are alot cleaner and flexible.

Also if you see that black portion of the wall behind my mic next to the table...that's the sound proofing. I was debating just constructing a booth, but seeing how we're only staying until the lease is up...I'm just going to hold off until we plant our roots in a more permenant place.

i've heard some good things about those portable booths, they aren't that badly priced either
