A friend of mine really thinking he's an engineer told me leaving your computer on for a long time will cause your computer to work better . His reason was the viruses kind of die when on for a long time. A good theory but I do disagree.

plus if you run disk defragment every month u can run more apps at the same time and leave ur comp on longer
