some say death death is a heart beat away
that tommaro is nothin if you cant seize the day
my friend just recently stopped breatin and died
i want to cry but the man in me wont let it by
so i size up the worth of all that is life
its sad to think that in one moment a soul can fly
so i, think back of all the good memories of him
he was a lil younger but he was still my friend
i find my self cursing wishin his life didnt end
he was just barely 18 his heart was still pure of sin
some time i feel life is a battle i cannot win
why did god feel that it was his time to leave
he was a respectful youngster which is a dying breed
his name was kade dela rosa a true hope for more
now hes dead and im hopein god opened the doors
so i write this poem cause this is my way ro cope
cuz life and death go together their relationships close
so rest easy Kade my friend and sleep in peace
you'll be alive in my memories and there you'll allways be

I'm extremely sorry for your loss. You can feel the emotion bleeding through this. I have nothing critical to say about good-bye pieces, because they come out as they come out, and regardless of how it's displayed, everyone can still relate in one way or another.
