I know exactly what you mean besides his first album but thats probably because it introduced the world to Luda. As great as his sound is, it can be a little obnoxious also considering that he gets real simple and way to materialistic. I only listened to this album once so far, its not that I don't think its better than his past few efforts overall, it just doesn't excite me or have that replay value that you're talking about.

Don't Know What's Going On Atm But i'ma Buy This Album. i Hope it's Tight, He Murders Every Collab. Like That "Dey Know Remix" Was Good. The Original Was Tight, The Remix Was Fire.

jamglue.com has most if not all the tracks. pm me yer email and i can hook you up with the album too. overall, i think its pretty good. my favs are mvp, last of a dying breed, and i do it for hiphop. that last of a dying breed song sounds mean as hell. but yeah, i think some of his best verses are on tracks not on his albums. its that way with a lot of cats though. look at fabolous and cassidy. both dudes have some skills but never seem to include them on their albums. im sure it has something to do with their labels since club bangers are more marketable and it is a business after all. mixtapes > albums any day.

I think Theater of Mind is a lot better than Release Therapy.

im stoked about gettin this album, ive been lookin for it but its always sold out

i agree with cee4 also, hes one of the best with punchlines "got the cat in the bag like cheetos, gettin laid like frito" hes got alotta clever punches, but he does have his own very distinct sound that gets overplayed n annoying kinda easily

i agree with you bill theater of mind is probably 1000 times better than release therapy idk maybe it was luda cuttin off his braids dat fucked him up on dat album lol but you guys are really imo under-rating this album. e.g.
track 3. wish you would ft T.I. - ill banga
track 4. one more drink ft t-pain - i know overplayed but hilarious song and even funnier video if u havent seen it...watch dat shit lol
track 5. call up the homies ft the game and willy northpole - this beat is so bananas A.M.E. used it for a collabo. lol
track 11. last of a dying breed ft Lil Wayne - Dope beat to shit on. Luda def slammed this one...M.C. MEANS MOVE THE CROWD dope Rakim Sample on the hook
track 12. MVP Prod. BY DJ PREMIER - Def one of the best bout time they linked up. instant classic anytime primo laces up the vinyl
track 13. i do it for hip-hop ft Nas and Jay-z - this was actually one of the most disappointing songs on the whole album, but wasnt all that hot and either was any of their verses which shocked me considering i grew up on Nas and Jay-z.
track 14. do the right thang ft common and spike lee - this was a perfect beat supplied by 9th wonder (PRIMO AND 9TH WONDER ARE THE TWO BEST PRODUCERS IN HIP-HOP ALL TIME) and notice they are both on the album! Common carried Luda on this and they both delievered. i think with features like this its definitely worth buying. i give it 3.5/5 the album was alot better than THE PREVIEW mixtape by Gangsta Grillz and DJ DRAMA. 3 of the biggest singles on the album were leaked on that mixtape and they were "unfinished and premmature versions of the songs"....enjoy the read.
