The People Here i Refer To as 'Vets' Are Ones Who Have Been Part Of The illest Community Pre-illestlyrics.com. i Know What Hazard's Talking About Though, No-one On This Site is a 'Vet' While Referring To The Big Picture (Hip Hop as a Whole), The Real Vets Are Daddy Kane, Rakim, Cube Etc Etc.

People Here Are Just Called 'Vets' Because in The illestlyrics World, That's What They Are.

...I think that most of us use the term "vet" in reguards to being an illestlyrics member for so long. Like me personally, I've been here over 2 yrs. Roughly about 25 and a half months to be exact.

When it comes to the rap side of shit, I've never really refered to myself as a vet due to the fact that I only started rappin just over 3 yrs ago. But...I have put out more tracks than some artists who would call themselves vets.

So I guess it all depends on how you use the word.

im new but vets should be someone dats ben around and rapped for a while someone who has rapped against a lot of people cuz if you look at it dis is just a website who cares dere are thousands of people all over the world who can't afford a computer but could destroy some of the best rappers just cuz your on da net doesnt mean your a vet you kno like nas said fathers of rap are crack heads your grandfathers age

i agree wit dom. like me. i say maybe i'm a vet i've been here since before illest. shit i been here when they rapped on a chat client lol. i've been what u say "Rappin" then too. but i don't even rap. i haven't really got into it. but the word vet on this site. is meaning as someone who has been here for a long time. compared to half yall new people. so the quotation of "Vets" isn't even needed because who really knows what a vet is?
