I notice ya'll dont have a "fuck ya'll" section...

so named because its a board where people with beefs go in and talk shit etc.. lol, i presume thats the last thing people want on illest, but its a good way to place the beef in a better environment.. usually people call them out, or drop a diss to the person, and then a response can follow.. kinda like the scriptures only its not just for verses, but for clearing the air too.. its pretty entertaining to have..

and a tutorial section - where people can write topics on battle issues, how to write topicals.. how to use multis .. improve flow.. work on punchlines etc.. i see you have the "chill with complexity / kurse etc" not really sure if these are to help people elevaate but just another thought.. gets people writing and dicussin and elevating... helping people get better at writing..

just a few thoughts that may or may not improve illest...

We got rid of both sections to improve Illest, lol. I don't know.

that was i think fight clubs original intention but its kinda strayed into a random miscellaneous area like the chill those two areas are where most of the beef and bullshit goes, i think it works fairly well, i don't really see the necessity for a seperate forum just for shitalking i think it'd be rather pointless and people would still talk shit wherever, more sections always seems like a good idea but they rarely have taken off in the past and i don't see them doing so in the future unless its something completely unrelated to hip hop that the majority of the site is interested in or its something completley out of the box

http://www.illestlyrics.com/board/cente ... -vf69.html ? that section is basically just what you described as you can see its pretty lifeless, i've got a few tuturial's half scripted half in my head that i've never bothered finishing but if theirs significant demand for something specific i can easily create a page or two explanation/tutorial on it

one major tutorial that will definately be done at some time will be a FL for Complete Fucking Morons, it'll be a screen video tutorial showing you how to make a complete simplistic beat in FL in a matter of minutes i'll cover everything i did to make the beat and explain the necessary features in common words so that everybody that can wipe their ass will be able to grasp it

personally, i think we should password protect the rap school section, cause alotta people on the site need help, confidentiality might make the section more effective, kids wouldnt have to worry about gettin burned for usin it
