I heard this shit.
Shits fucked up, and honestly...tracks like that don't surface without there being some kind of truth behind them.
I feel for him though...nobody is going to watch out for you better than numero uno! And deep down it leaves me with an empty feeling in my stomach because when I got into rap...it was because I wanted to be these guys. (Dr Dre, Eminem, etc) I got into this game sayin to myself, "Okay..I'm not leavin with nuthin short than an Aftermath deal!" But you look at Joel Ortiz, Obie Trice and now Stat. Even back in the early years with Royce. It's makes me question the business ethic over there. And somewhere throughout all of that it makes me wonder...like, if Aftermath isn't my goal anymore, where do I go from here!?
That track is hard shit to hear, real talk.

realistically an aftermath deal wouldn't mean shit anymore they've had 2 successful artists in their history they've never been a label with an impressive roster with back to back successful cds like cash money(bling bling era)/no limit/bad boy/death row has, a record deal doesn't mean shit anymore its all about singles not albums these days
