too bad he took a year off from baseball and they dont know if hell come back. i remember playing his games for n64 religiously. Ken Griffey Jr. will go down as one of the classiest athletes of all time. always a fan favorite wherever he goes. did you guys know that hes in the white house now? and thats why hes not playing baseball.

LoL^^ no shit... we havent had a decent DH since edgar martinez, and well...thats not saying much...but yeah, he couldnt have chose a better place to retire than his old home. hes greatly loved over here, and is highly respected state wide... thank god he didnt go to craplanta!!
and yeah, i was watchin the tarheels game @ bar when i heard people cheering mad loud and i was wondering why the the game was on a commercial, well finds out it was griffey smackin a solo homer....shit was epic.

but yeah, i was at the game at that game in the kingdome when they brought in randy johnson to close... and when griffey ran home from second to win the game...
lol, i member that shit like it was yesterday, i was mad young though..

so i went to the game, it was sweet, but due to my heavy consumption of beer n liquor, i hardley remember even one pitch being thrown... i got Drunk with "the sheriff" (former mariner)

Growing up a huge Yankee fan I always loved Griffey..But I hated him in 95 when the Yanks shoulda won the World Series give it to Mattingly..But yea growing up my favorite baseball player was Griffey Jr. And yes he shoulda broke the record if only he took better care of himself when he went to the Reds, or if they took better care of him...Definitely a shame.
