I'd have to go with Black Milk. I like Kev Brown, but he's just a little TOO laid back with his delivery. It almost sounds like he's reading a story before bed, all tired and shit. Kind of a Kenn Starr with a deeper voice and not as many multies. Black Milk is pretty dope, though. I like that track he's got on Jake One's new album.

Speaking of Jake One and the whole producer thing... let's switch it up.

Jake One vs. RJD2

RJD2. im boys with copywrite and just for the mic check track he snapped on. but rjd2's samples come from another universe not takin away from jake one but doin albums with blueprint, aceyalone, and his solo instrumntal albums that i always look forward to freestylin over. cant beat it.

probably one of the toughest descision we'll ever make in our lives..lol
9th wonder or Primo?

Fuck... That is a tough one. Probably my two favorite producers, along with J-Dilla, Oddissee, M-Phazes, Pete Rock, Blockhead, El-P, Ant, etc.

I'm gonna have to give it to 9th. Premier is sick as hell and there isn't a beat I like, but 9th is doing his thing and I'm a HUGE fan of Little Brother. I just prefer his soulful sampling and simple drum patterns. However, Primo is a legend. I'd compare 9th more with Dilla.

J Dilla vs Pete Rock

i love pete rock hes solid. hes worked with just about everybody ive admired in hip-hop. all the legends, fathers, teachers...but then again when i look at it so has j dilla.RIP
so im going to go with J Dilla. because as you are a huge fan of little brother im a big fan of slum village and i remember when they first came out and i saw the video for "raise it up" and i was like now this shit is music!!! that list of hip-hop albums.. if you havent peep'd it out. ILLA J is actually J DILLA'S "little brother" i thought you would like the inside joke on that. but yea hes his brother and after j dilla died he gave his brother his beats and then he started rappin and singing on unreleased dilla tracks. i think illa j will follow in JD's footsteps the way he would have wanted to.
