They have won 4 championships since 99 and been in the semi-finals or finals since Jordan retired.
That's a very dominate team.
And the celtics have beat big teams, I.E, kings, nets, lakers, raptors, pistons, magic, suns, mavericks, and the jazz.
The bolded teams have the best record in their divisions.
Of course, I understand what you mean, not being tested for the playoffs.
But they are a team of veterans and I wouldn't be surprised to see them take it.

Pistons vs Celtics is a great prediction, but I wouldn't put money on either of them beating each other.
