First of all, if i was a typical person, i'd have a religion, most ppl do, and i am pretty well aware that there are many religions.

Some things within religion (prophecies in the Bible and Qu'Ran) are strangely true...so by logic there has to be SOME sense to religion...because if you look at all the prophecies and look at how many have come true, it really makes you think that there is something else out there...
I think religion is something you need to thoroughly research before making statements of any sort...it's a more personal thing...whether you yourself are willing to believe it...
But aside from all that...imo the Bible makes good reading...and some of the wisdom in there is extremely useful...

perhaps there is somekind of god, possibly an extraterrestrial god, i donno, but there are many religions with many different gods, as has been pointed out, who knows which is the "right one"
fact is, the ORIGINAL bible was written in a language that has TO THIS DAY has remained only 3/4 decypherable, that means NOW we only understand three quarters of that language, yet, there has been many bibles made off this bible through the years, and those versions made in many diff languages, and translated from language to language, with the original still not understood... in the original, they also understand that "love" and "god" share the exact same word, so lets factor that into the equation, and we literally have a mockable modern religion, with MANY spinoffs, its rediculous to say the least, im not denying any existance of god, yet im saying, religion, is a joke, it needs to be investigated futher before we mould more little minds to follow it for no reason
