Omni was my graffiti moniker. I was raised very religious so of course I learned a lot about the OMNIpotent one. I've been into art since childhood...I was always drawing and shit, so when I started writing/tagging I thought Omni would fit me because I would be UP as much as I could, all over L.A....I did the name justice and it stuck. Haven't gone bombing in years but I still see my name on buses and shit, homies still call me that too...went by the-POETic-ONE on my first forum just to test out my skills, in case I sucked I wouldnt burn Omni...this is the second forum I join, but I'm learning alot from Illest, so even if I suck, I'll learn as Omni...fuck it...

I've thought about ditching my Ruckus moniker and going with Gonzo, due to my large nose lol. Just to put it out there and show that yes, I am aware of my nose, and that I'm not offended by any nose-driven insults. Gonzo was another nickname growing up, but only to close friends. Others stopped calling me Gonzo after I flattened their noses.

my last name is simply blok backwards. first name starts with b. simple but my boys always called me b. and bloks(blocks),being square represent my abstract style well i feel.

I was about to post the same question in a thread, cause I've seen some random names that I wanted a story behind. That's how I found this one.

Skunkle Sam is a reference to Uncle Sam, and how the shitty excuse for a government skunks anyone and everyone out of anything and everything that they can. Not a reference to herb, all though that would fit too.

I used to tag Brando, kind of an ironic name because I see myself as the opposite of Marlon Brando's public persona. I'm tagging something else now, but I ain't telling. Too much property damage to be attaching that name to myself...

im named after cpt. henry morgan < lame right well as a kid i had a close call with a shark at seal beach so as to get the hell outta the water i jumped clean out of my swim trunks and bee lined it to land ended up in the sand and had to take a long bare assed walk to the car and thats how i got the name sandman it stuck to this day however on my grind to become a rapper i found another sandman that was a producer and another rapper that also had to change his name but i believe he went with the original sandman

i at one point gave up on rapping for bout 4 years mad that i should have been paid for earlier work but i love this shit so i'm back and as not to run into the same you got my name i'll kill you over it beef i opted to go with leeroi green after my dad passed his name was lee and i'm a pothead genius that has long gone by greenius and if you have ever seen barry gordy the last dragon then you know how i put it all together
