Been pretty busy myself. I will pop in from time to time on my phone but that's it. I've lost interest, honestly. When you drop a solid piece and get like 60 views and 5 replies, it doesn't really push you to keep writing. But it's the same with all of the shit being dropped. I think dudes are just finding other forms of entertainment cuz with the low responses on pieces, the shit seems like a waste. Maybe i'll just start flooding the site with rhymes.

Yeah i've lost a lot of interest too. I'm just sick of corny internet bitches, everyone talks shit on here like it means something, like Jay Z is watching and checking up on us, they're compensating for the lack of relation in their real lives. People seriously live good lives and don't ever have to struggle, but they make one black friend and all a sudden they're the next styles p, then they come here and talk shit to people who have never met them, trying to role play and be seen as something they couldn't be considered in real life (a thug). They glorify horrible shit that REAL PEOPLE have to struggle with everyday, making a joke out of real pain, shit that they don't experience in thier life unless they're day dreaming about it or watching the national news. They're sitting they in their four bedroom home in some nice ass part of town listening to bubblegum gangstar rap and trying to knock the style, It's fucking pathetic, and I mean that with all honesty, to be a grown man and act the way some people do proves to me that they are still spoiled, momma boys who live at home and only see crime on tv, fools who are faker than whitney houston's sobriety, fools who are as gangster as suburban cops. I know real thugs, and ain't non of them have a computer, and if they do, they sure as hell ain't getting online except to look at guns (or probably stole that computer and is trying to sell it real quick). No ms-13 or NSM is gonna get online and fuck with a site like this. Now, i've never been a big internet head anyways, this is the only forum i've been a part of besides like myspace or facebook. I got no problem leaving this shit behind and saying fuck off to all these fabricated, wannabe internet geeks. This site should be here to help people grow as artists and provide something fun to do, that shit don't happen though. It's just un-fed drops, fake accounts and lying, bitches talking shit EVERYDAY in the shoutbox, sometimes about personal shit like people's kids, mods bickering over changes and new ideas so nothing ever improves, people attacking other people because they don't share the same style, battles that never get voted on or even get a verse, battles getting cheated, plain graphics and an owner who could truly care less about this site or 98% of the people on it. I can go on and on with this place. But the main problem with this site is the people that seem to stay. It's the people, plain and simple. And as long as I see the same people on here, i'm gonna ignore this place and enjoy the life I have right here next to me, I got girls, I got friends, I had all that before I came to this site, and as I sit here losing interest, I still have it all, don't believe me, come peep my facebook. I came here to grow as a writer, not because I had no friends and needed someone to talk to. I liked that this site had people who I had things in common with creatively, but who cares, i'd rather kick it with my true friends and chase girls than be here. This site makes me sad, people have a lot of talent but no one gets along, this site is like new jersey nets last year. I'm just so annoyed, I wish we all knew each other so I could swing on some of you. I tried bringing people on this site but even they blown on how many bitches are on here. Half the people who 'sometimes' use this site are ALWAYS on rap battles, so it's not like they're busy.

I agree with this message completely, but I am also trying to do something about it by trying to help these issues. Alot of people have spoken with me about certain changes here and there, and so on. Ill be doing audio soon too, and I hope that will help somewhat. Im trying to figure ways of promotion without tearing a hole in my pocket over something that might prove to be nothing, as far as getting activity in return, no money so much... I want to have this topical tournament kicked in, but now so many people that signed up have or seem to have bailed on the site. That makes me not want to offer 50 dollars toward the winner, among other prizes that make it WORTH it to actually show and do the best each person can do.

Also, I think we need to start enforcing feeding verses before posts. Locking threads until people feed three verses and post their links. That forces people to quit flooding the writtens without feeding verses. After about of month of that, it wont have to monitered so strictly because peeps will get used to the rule.

Just to clarify, I wasnt agreeing with what he said about no one else contributing. I do think that we should have a hidden forum or something where we can openly express ideas back and forth to each other without all the added BS being thrown into the mix...

Every other website I've been a moderator or administrator on has a Mods/Admins only forum where we can all discuss things without random bs thrown in the mix.

Regular users don't really get a say in it because it's not up to them what mods or admins do.

I think one of the biggest things wrong with the moderation/administration is the fear of backlash and constantly looking to the community for approval. We don't need users approval nor do we need to explain ourselves to regular users if we deem something necessary, it will be done, simple as that. Which is why people that have been repeat offenders of various things aren't banned.
